| After Your Treatment : If Your Cancer Returns |
|
 |
 |
If your cancer returns
- Sadly, no treatment is foolproof. If the cancer comes back,
it’s generally more difficult to treat the second time around.
- If the cancer is still confined to the prostate gland area,
your doctor may try some type of local treatment different
from the first.
- If the cancer has spread beyond the prostate gland area, you
would need to have a treatment that would affect the entire
body, not just the area of the prostate.
